But, sometimes it can be tricky to figure out what works with your unique personality, demeanor, and needs. Instead, let your zodiac sign tell you exactly how you should be selling. Here’s how to unleash your zodiac sales power.

Aquarius: The Water Bearer
(Jan 20-Feb 18)

As an Aquarius, you’re probably kind, friendly, and generous. That’s great, and these characteristics will help you immensely in sales! But, you need to be careful that you don’t let politeness get in the way of your deals. Make sure you stay direct, and to the point. And especially, keep an eye out to make sure you don’t make any promises you can’t keep. Plus, make sure you are looking at sales as a solutions-focused career- you are helping people, even if they don’t see it at first!

Pisces: The Fish
(Feb 19-Mar 20)

You probably got into sales because you heard about the endless potential, and the amazing opportunities you’d have. For you, the sky’s the limit, since you never stop dreaming about making it to the top. Make sure to keep in mind however, that good things take time. Not everything is going to be rainbows and sunshine, and that’s ok! If you are really going to get that executive position, you need to work your way up.

Aries: The Ram
(Mar 21-Apr 19)

Your fearless personality makes you a perfect fit for sales. You aren’t afraid to push back when someone says they aren’t interested. Your manager probably gives you all the deals that they don’t think anyone else can possibly close. You love a good challenge, and get bored without one. But, make sure you aren’t taking too many risks. Have a few deals on your back-burner that are a sure thing.

Taurus: The Bull
(Apr 20-May 20)

Ah, the mighty Taurus. You are likely a natural leader, and whether you are currently a new sales rep or an executive at your company, people look to you for advice. You never miss a deadline, and are always on top of your numbers. But, you might be doing a bit too much for others. Take some time to focus on yourself each day, and maybe even try a bit of gentle meditation.

Gemini: The Twins
(May 21-Jun 20)

As a Gemini, you’re an incredibly versatile salesperson that can succeed in a wide range of different sales careers. You easily adapt to new situations, and your prospects likely find you extremely easy to talk to. Building relationships comes naturally to you. But, you might have a tendency not to stay in the same place for too long. Good things take time, so don’t just jump from sales job to sales job without really getting a good feel for them.

Cancer: The Crab
(June 21-July 22)

You are likely a gentle and sensitive person who enjoys their alone time. Blending these traits into a sales career might seem counterintuitive at first, but any Cancer in sales knows that being a bit of an introvert can have its benefits. People are likely to see you as extremely trustworthy, which makes them much more likely to buy your product. But, you might have a bit of a hard time dealing with rejection. Make sure you don’t take these lost deals or angry prospects to much to heart.

Leo: The Lion
(July 23-Aug 22)

As a Leo, there’s a good chance you are great at becoming exactly the type of salesperson that each individual prospect needs. You know exactly what tone to take, and the correct body language for each and every interaction. Plus, you are likely not lacking in the confidence department. However, make sure that you still appear down-to-earth to your clients, and go the extra mile to seem more genuine. Let your guard down a bit next time you grab a coffee with a prospect.

Virgo: The Virgin
(Aug 23-Sep 22)

As a Virgo, you likely got into sales because you knew you could make a real difference with your career. You’re all about helping people, and providing solutions. Your entire team knows they can turn to you for support. It’s also likely that you can be found doing volunteer work pretty much every weekend. But, don’t let yourself get burned out by helping everyone around you. Make sure you are reaching your own goals before you lend out a hand to others.

Libra: The Scales
(Sep 23-Oct 22)

Every sales team needs a Libra. You likely are a great mediator, and know exactly how to resolve the all-too-common conflict that occurs on a sales team. This makes you a natural fit as a sales leader, so reach for the stars! But, make sure you are developing the skills needed to actually close deals, and don’t be afraid to keep pushing a hesitant prospect to purchase your product.

Scorpio: The Scorpion
(Oct 23-November 21)

Pretty much everyone knows that Scorpios are stubborn and passionate people. Make sure to use this to your advantage when you have a deal to close! For the most part, you always have the power of persuasion on your side, and know how to convince even the most difficult buyer they need your product. One warning though: know when you really do need to take “no” for an answer. If they aren’t the right fit, or don’t have the budget just kill the deal and move on.

Sagittarius: The Archer
(November 22-December 21)

If anyone is going to do the (nearly) impossible and become a billionaire through their sales career, it’s you. You love taking risks. And, most of the time, those risks pay off. But, you might have some times where they really, really don’t. If you hit a sales slump, don’t get discouraged. Make sure you always have some cash tucked away for a rainy day, so you can keep taking the risks you need to really succeed.

Capricorn: The Goat
(Dec 22-Jan 19)

You likely have a pretty serious, no-nonsense sales strategy. And, you are likely in a type of sales that rewards this type of demeanor. This is great for most of the time, but make sure you know how to let your hair down and let loose. Try incorporating a bit of humor into your sales technique. Plus, make sure to say yes to after-work drinks with your peers every now and then- it’s good for you.
