Spiro’s Latest Features and Updates – March 2018
Since the early days at Spiro, we have always worked to build a product that helps salespeople do their job more efficiently and effectively, ultimately allowing you to close more deals. And we continue with every latest release to make enhancements to Spiro to help you reach your sales goals.
I think you’ll be pretty excited to hear about all the great work we’ve recently done. (BTW, if you aren’t using Spiro yet, then what are you waiting for? Schedule a demo to see our AI-Powered CRM in action.)
Here are all the exciting new features we’ve recently added to Spiro:
Email Campaigns
Our Email Campaigns are a brand new feature that allows users to have mass emailing capabilities. You can send email campaigns to a targeted list of your contacts, with the ability to see exactly which emails were undelivered, viewed, opened, and responded to. This feature is especially helpful to salespeople that want to send one single email to multiple people. You can build your own rich-format templates and customize certain fields to personalize the email. Currently in a beta version, the Campaigns feature allows you to schedule emails for a future time and date, with the ability to send up to 100 emails at one time.
New Email Assistant Features
Spiro’s Email Assistant, is our conversational interface where you can have an email exchange with your CRM, asking it to do tasks such as adding new records, setting reminders, and getting insightful sales reports. Here are some exciting updates on our Email Assistant:
1. Now when you get an email from the Assistant about a reminder, it will include your contact’s email, phone number, and link to their Spiro record. This allows you to easily drill into the contact for more information, right from your email.
2. When you ask your Email Assistant “What’s in my pipeline”, you will see a whole new design!
3. Our Email Assistant now responses to the the following commands:
- What deals were won this month?
- What deals were lost this month?
- Forward an email from a prospect and write: Who is this?
- Send an email and say “Who is andy@spiro.ai?”
You can view all the commands the Assistant knows here: Email Assistant Commands
4. We also rolled out a new Weekly Summary email for users and managers. Your Email Assistant will send an email at the end of the week letting you know your progress for that week. It will show a summary of your (or your team’s) activities, and also your full pipeline categorized by sales stage.
Spiro Voice
Spiro Voice gives users calling capabilities directly from their web browser. It provides one click dialing, the ability to send and receive texts, and direct logging of calls right into Spiro. We have made a few recent changes to Spiro Voice to enhance the user experience.
1. Due to customer feedback, we have added a mute button to Spiro Voice. This gives you the option to turn off your audio with a simple click.
2. Now when you use the dial pad in Spiro Voice, Spiro will search if that number exists already on a contact’s record and will log that call under the correct contact. If the number is not found, Spiro will automatically create a new contact for you, which allows you to then record your notes from the call.
3. When you receive an incoming call, now not only is the contact name displayed, but also the company name, giving you a more complete picture of who is calling you.
Recent Updates and Enhancements
Multiple Pipelines
Spiro now supports multiple pipelines. Let’s say your company has two different sales processes for your inbound and outbound sales teams, Spiro now supports those multiple pipelines.
Contact Create Form Updates
We recently added the company name on the contact create form. This lets users assign a contact to a company while creating that new contact. This field is not mandatory though, and if you do leave the company name blank, Spiro will still use the domain of that contact’s email address to match it to the proper company.
Spiro Admin Users
System admins will have the ability to manage their team and invite new users in their organization to log-in to Spiro. Users with admin privileges will also be able to manage their organization’s list of users and grant permissions accordingly.
Enhanced Customization
You can now tailor your customized fields even more, as Spiro now supports links, currencies, and company lookup fields, which is particularly helpful for our customers selling through channels or distributors.
WebEdition Improvements
1. We have made changes to the activity timeline, allowing you to filter by type of activity (notes, attachments, events, etc.) and user.
2. Back by popular demand, you can now export records from Spiro again.
3. Have you been having a hard time viewing your notes and emails? Well, we recently made the pop-up window resizable, so it will be easier for users to view content.
4. All Spiro interactions now not only have a date automatically assigned, but also a time stamp, making this a more detailed view into your activities.
iOS Changes
1. We have made enhancements to the user experience on iOS by populating social media fields, such as industry information, company description, and contact profile picture.
2. When you set a default country code for phone numbers, that will automatically be pulled in when editing phone and mobile numbers for your contacts and companies.
3. You can now see reminders at the Opportunity level. In the past you were only able to view them at the contact level. This change will keep you up to date on your next steps at all time.
For our mobile users, be sure to stay up to date and download the latest version of Spiro for iOS and Android.
