Sometimes, when people think about sales quotes they think about some sales hack spewing garbage guaranteeing rainbows and sunshine if you just believe in yourself. But, these sales quotes can be perfectly legitimate ways to keep yourself motivated and excited about your sales career.

Here are some common sales situations, and the perfect sales quotes to accompany them.

And, for any situation, it’s a good idea to have a Proactive Relationship Management Platform, like Spiro!

When you can’t motivate yourself to get out of bed and make cold calls:

“A goal is a dream with a deadline.”

-Napoleon Hill

When your boss is being a total a-hole:

No one can make you feel inferior without your consent.”

-Eleanor Roosevelt

If you’re trying to move up the sales ladder:

“Leadership belongs to those who take it.”

-Sheryl Sandberg

When your sales team is getting a little disconnected:

“The strength of the team is each individual member. The strength of each member is the team.”

-Phil Jackson

When you’re in a sales slump, and think you lost your edge:

“Motivation will almost always beat mere talent.”

-Norman Ralph Augustine

When you feel frustrated about your sales process:

“Bad process is better than no process, because you can improve systems but not randomness.”

-Aaron Ross

When you lose a deal:

“Success is the ability to go from failure to failure without losing your enthusiasm.”

-Winston Churchill

When you’re prospecting and not quite getting the responses you want:

“Pretend that every single person you meet has a sign around his or her neck that says, ‘Make me feel important.’ Not only will you succeed in sales, you will succeed in life.”

-Mary Kay Ash

The general rule is, if there is something that a salesperson faces in their day-to-day life, there’s probably a quote about it. Hopefully these quotes get you off to a good start, and you can find all the motivation you need from now on!
